The Day Itself
Saturday came in blazing, blue skies, happy faces, and the kind of light photographers dream about. Elis and Andy spent the morning grinning like they’d just nicked the last pasty from the bakery. Every time they caught each other’s eye, they cracked up. Every walk turned into a stroll and giggle.
The ceremony had feels. Proper ones. That sweet mix of teary eyes and cheeky grins. Guests were soaking up the views while the two of them just looked… home. You could tell this wasn’t a performance, it was just them, doing their thing, wrapped up in it all.
Then came the drinks, the chats, and the slow wander down through each level of The Beacon. By the time the speeches rolled around, everyone had loosened up nicely. The laughter was real, the hugs were plentiful, and if anyone wasn’t smiling, they must have been in the loo.
The dance floor? Absolute carnage in the best way. Shoes abandoned, ties on heads, someone’s aunt showing off moves that definitely haven’t seen daylight since the 80s. Elis and Andy right in the middle of it all, beaming.

Ceremony here, drinks there, party down there. It’s like a mini adventure with a side of fine dining. You start the day surrounded by gardens and sunshine, wander through the grounds like you’re in a period drama (minus the corsets), and end up dancing with a pint in hand under fairy lights. Class.
Why I Loved It
The Beacon is one of those rare places where a wedding actually feels like a story unfolding. Each space gives you something different. The calm start. The warm buzz of the ceremony. The chaos of the party. And Elis and Andy just flowed through it, laughing, holding hands, soaking it all up like it was exactly where they were meant to be.
