Storm-kissed Snuggles in the Bay – Elle + Ryan’s Cwtchy Smoochy Session
Grey Skies & Good Times
Cardiff said showers, Elena and Ryan said bring it on. They showed up with a spare brolly, a spaniel who thought he owned the place, and one simple goal: act normal and pretend the camera is not there. Ryan’s words, not mine.
We kicked things off by the Pierhead so the red brick could light up the grey sky. No stiff poses needed because these two are happiest pulled in close, eyes locked, forgetting anyone else exists. Within minutes the nerves melted. Elena later told me she stopped noticing the lens after a few frames because “Naim made us feel relaxed and comfortable.”
Brilliant… Hilarious… Memorable!

From there we wandered toward the canal, their instant comfort zone. The drizzle turned colours richer, hair a bit wilder, and laughs louder. The biggest surprise for both? How completely un-awkward it felt. Confidence climbed shot by shot until they were genuinely buzzing.
Peak laughter hit when we spotted a very questionable piece of pavement art: a rogue drawing of a penis right there on the ground. That random discovery is the moment they are dying to see in the gallery because, in their words, it was “brilliant, hilarious, memorable.”
